Sectional door
Sectional doors are garage doors that are made up of several panels mounted to track. This allows the door to fold when it opens, rather than moving out and back. Sectional doors fit in perfectly with modern architecture. The lines that divide the sections make them a great choice for any modern home. Being made up of individual panels means that, if the door is damaged, you have the option of replacing individual panels rather than the whole door.

Roller door
Similar to sectional doors, roller doors are made up of several different sections that allow the door to open and close without moving out and back. Roller doors do, however, have several key differences. For one, the sections that make up a roller door are significantly smaller and joined together. The metal between the roller door sections is thin and pliable, allowing the door to roll up when opened. While most roller doors roll up, there are those that move along a track to the top of a garage, similar to a sectional door.
Tilt door
Tilt garage doors are single panel garage doors that tilt upwards and slide back into the top of a garage when opening. The single panel of a tilt door is a solid-faced alternative for people who don't like the lines on a sectional door. This allows for a wider variety of design choices on the face of the door that wouldn't be possible with a sectional door. Tilt doors also allow for certain materials that are ill-suited to be cut to the sizes that sectional doors require.
Carriage doors
If you are going for an older look with your home, carriage doors can be a good option. Carriage doors open outwards in a way similar to barn doors. While they are more niche than other options, there is still a place for carriage doors in the 21st Century. In the right setting, carriage doors can add a lot to the style of a home.
